Food Storage and Family Preparedness.

On Saturday, our stake had a preparedness fair. While I am excited to learn more about food storage and how to be prepared for whatever may happen in the future, I am overwhelmed by it all and not sure where to start. Do I start with the basics for cooking or do I start with canned food? How much do I get? Help, WHERE DO I START??? Does anyone have tips to help with food storage or emergency preparedness?
